Most children’s fitness programs lack in basic fundamentals. CrossFit Kids incorporates the general physical skills needed to live a healthy life in a fun and unique way. Kids gain balance, improve agility and coordination while increasing their endurance, strength and stamina and it feels like playing. Every class is taught by a certified CrossFit Kids instructor, each class is unique, and everyone feels included. The CrossFit Kids program uses a template of randomized, functional exercises, performed at high intensity. Adjustments are made to accommodate the specific needs and requirements of children and teens. Workouts consist of exercises containing elements drawn from the above enumerated physical skills, while special attention is paid to utilizing progressions for difficult or compound movements, and progressive loading dictated by size, age and consistency in form. CrossFit Iron Horse is the only Certified CrossFit Kids Gym in the Fort Worth area.
