Co-Owner and Head Coach

I was born in Oceanside, California. I was a military brat and my family and I relocated all over the country for most of my childhood. Following in my father’s footsteps, I joined the United States Marine Corps in 2005 and served 5 years of active duty service before  pursuing more education and a business in CrossFit. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, an All Level Teaching Certification for Health and Physical Education and I found CrossFit shortly before ending my military service.

My first introduction to CrossFit was a video of the famous Eva T. performing the workout, “Nate” and I immediately wanted to try it! It looked challenging, functional and best of all… fun! In 2009 I signed up at a local affiliate and never looked back. It was a perfect fit for me, helped me overcome a long battle with an eating disorder, and I started to see results very quickly. Since then, my love for CrossFit has only grown. I am passionate about coaching and I thrive on the reward I experience while helping others reach their health and fitness goals. I believe that my purpose is to help others live longer, happier, and healthier lives.
