Co-Owner and Coach

I was born in Oceanside, California and was a military brat, relocating all over the country, for all of my childhood. Following my father’s footsteps, I joined the United States Marine Corps in 2005 and served 5 years of active duty service before getting out to pursue a degree and a business in CrossFit. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, an All Level Teaching Certification for Health and Physical Education, and I found CrossFit shortly before ending my military service. My first introduction to CrossFit was a video of the famous Eva T. performing the workout, “Nate.” I immediately wanted to try it! It looked challenging, functional, and best of all, fun! In 2009 I signed up at a local affiliate and never looked back. It was a perfect fit for me and I started to see results very quickly. Since then, my love for CrossFit has only grown. I am passionate about coaching and I thrive on the reward felt while helping others reach their health and fitness goals. I believe that my purpose is to coach and to compete as an athlete and I will continue to for as long as my body will allow.
