I’ve lost over 40 pounds since joining CFIH in 2018. Before starting CrossFit, I would diet and try different things that would work for a little bit, but then I would yo-yo back up once I came off my diet. Now I just stick to making better choices (with the long term in mind).

My approach to working out has been impacted by CFIH tremendously since walking through those doors for a free Saturday class. The CFIH community and coaches helped me find my drive again; my drive to want to get better as an athlete and as a person.

I have lost a total of 20 pounds and have trimmed up quite a bit! The biggest change was how many inches I lost on my waist and thighs. I have always been someone who is physically active and enjoys being outside and moving, but when life threw me some strong change ups, I lost motivation to be healthy and take care of myself. Then one day something just hit me and I realized there are a lot of things I can’t control but my health and physical activity are things that I can. CFIH has helped me enjoy working out again. I love my community and I gain strength from them everyday.

Since joining CFIH, I have lost 30 pounds and gained a better appreciation for my body. Spending an hour a day at CFIH gives me the mental break I need from school and helps me de-stress. The members at CFIH are inspiring! They have always been so welcoming, encouraging, and a fun group to work out with. The coaches care SO much about us, inside and outside of the gym!
