How Do I Start?
If you’re hesitant to make the jump because you feel out of shape or like you’re not ready yet, we’d argue that’s the best time! We are big believers in stepping outside our comfort zones because that’s where growth happens! The first step is always the hardest one, but it’s also the most important one. Know we are here to guide you every step of the way, and we love what we do.
The best way to start is by booking a consultation. During this 1-on-1 meeting, you’ll sit down in a private area to discuss your personal fitness goals, any struggles you might be facing, and your unique background with a coach. This is your opportunity to share where you’re starting from, where you want to be, your concerns, while we craft a plan specifically for you.
From there, your coach will help you determine the most beneficial start-up options based on your individual needs. Whether it’s easing into the basics with personal training sessions, or starting off in one of our beginner-friendly classes, we’ll work with you to make sure you’re comfortable and set up for success.
Why You Don’t Need to Be in Shape to Start
At CFIH, we don’t expect you to be in peak shape when you first visit us (we’d be shocked if you already were)! Our job is to help you achieve the health and fitness goals that matter most to you. One of the core principles of each of our fitness programs is that they’re all infinitely scalable for everyone—no matter your starting point. All you have to do is show up and meet us half way!
Whether you’re doing a push-up on your knees, scaling a pull-up from a band, or using lighter weights like a PVC pipe, every exercise can be adjusted to match your fitness level. As you build strength, stamina, and confidence, you’ll gradually increase intensity when you’re feeling ready, all while feeling supported and encouraged.
